Getting ready for another great week at CPS. Here is another easy way to view the week. Feel free to save it to your phone for reference. It is also located on our website. We hope you find this to be a helpful tool.

Commerce Primary & Elementary Schools will join students from across the country and around the world to compete in READBowl, the World Championship of Reading, beginning on Monday, January 13, the week before the College Football National Championship. Our students will compete in four quarters (weeks) of reading action through February 7. Mr. Mitchell will announce the World Champions of Super Bowl Sunday, February 9.

Game On! We're excited to Kick Off @readwithmalcolm's #READBowl at Commerce Primary and Elementary Schools. Our Tigers are in it to win the #WorldChampionship of Reading!

We are getting in the holiday spirit! Next week, 12/16-12/20, we have a different theme every day. On Friday, we want you to bring your creativity! We have a prize for the most festive teacher AND student!

Silent Santa is an opportunity for our friends with sensory issues to visit with the big guy without the noise and crowds. Please see the image to see how to register.

Holiday parties are quickly approaching. Save the date for your calendar. Your teacher will send home specifics for your class.

Multicultural Night has been rescheduled to March 6. Mark your calendar and reach out to Alicia if you are interested in participating.

For anyone needing assistance during open enrollment.

Today is Georgia's Family Engagement Day! You are essential to your child's education! Today, choose an activity that not only helps them grow academically but strengthens your relationship. Here are some ideas...

We have had around 150 books donated for our Books-giving & Blessings! Some of the books contain sweet messages from the families that brought them in, but for some of the books purchased through our Amazon Wish List, we asked Mrs. Brown’s 4th Graders to write encouraging notes inside.
The children of Western North Carolina are going to love these gifts!
We need 500 books, so keep the donations coming!

Please consider donating to our Books-giving. We are collecting books for the children in WNC who were devastated by Hurricane Helene. Many lost everything. There are a few ways to donate. CES has a book fair opening TOMORROW. They will be collecting books there. You can also access an Amazon wishlist through the QR Code, or simply just bring in a NEW book to school. Thank you!

The Tigers are headed to the playoffs! To get our schools ready, our PTO will be selling game day gear to our students on Friday. Cash only.

Red Ribbon Week kicks off tomorrow, 10/28.

Halloween at CPS!
Our Trunk or Treat is FULL! Thank you to all our volunteers! We are still collecting candy! Please send that in with your child.
