Good afternoon. Our schools will be conducting lockdown drills this week. Please do not be alarmed if you hear that one of our schools has gone into a Level III lockdown. There will be additional law enforcement officers and vehicles at the schools this week for the drills. Please talk with your students about the drill so they understand that the drill is another way to keep everyone as safe as possible. Thanks for your help.

Notice: The dates and times for the millage rate hearings are-
Friday, September 1, at 1:00 pm
Thursday, September 7, at 6:00 pm (prior to board work session)
Monday, September 11, at 10:00 am
The hearings will be in the board room at Central Office located at 270 Lakeview Dr.

The afterschool programs will end today at 4:30 pm. The JV game for today has been cancelled. All athletic practices at CHS will continue as planned. All athletic practices at CMS have been cancelled except for CMS football.

Just a reminder to our PK and K parents to join us for our Boo Hoo or Yahoo informational meeting on Monday (Kindergarten) or Tuesday (PK) from 8:00-9:00 in the Media Center. This is for parents only. Students should be dropped off at their classroom by 7:40.


Parents: Please be aware that the Boys & Girls Club is closed today.

Open House for CPS & CES is Wednesday, July 26 from 4-7. Last names A-M come 4-5:30 & last names N-Z come 5:30-7. If your child will need medications at school, be sure to bring them to Open House and visit our nurses at their table in the cafeteria. All students must be registered in order to meet their teacher.
