Kindergarten Registration 

• Kindergarten registration is open to children who will be 5 by September 1, 2024.

• In-district students will be given first priority. Applications for students living outside the city limits will be placed on a waiting list and prioritized by date/time of completion. Out of district students will be contacted in early to mid- June and will be required to pay tuition ($600 per year) within the first ten days of the 24-25 school year. 

• Online registration will begin April 8 and end May 3.

• To register, please visit https://www.commercecityschools.org/page/student-registration and complete the 24-25 Kindergarten application. 

  • The following information will be needed to complete the application: 

    • Your child’s Social Security number. 

    • Birth certificate

    • Proof of residency (utility bill or rental agreement with parent/guardian’s name)

    • Parent/Guardian I.D. (driver’s license)

    • Custodial paperwork (if applicable)

    • Immunization record (Form 3321) 

    • Hearing, Vision, Dental (Form 3300)

      *Can be submitted to the school nurse within the first month of school if not available at the time of registration. 

• An email will be sent to the parents of students with completed applications in early May. The email will contain a link to schedule an appointment for a Kindergarten screening to be held on May 24. Appointments will be offered between 8:00-12:00.
