The Help A Child Smile dental van program will be visiting CMS on Tuesday, October 10th. If you would like your student to participate in this program, please fill out the form in the link below and return it to CMS front office OR please reach out to our counselor, Grace Arienzo, or our nurse, Sandy Davis, and we will send a form home with your student (706-335-5594). Congrats to this week’s Terrific Tigers! These students were nominated by their teachers for showing the Positivity Project traits- traits focused on students of strong character, integrity, and caring for each other. We will recognize a group of students each week for P2 Traits and all students are eligible. Display those character traits and the next winner might be you!

Progress Reports were sent home today along with iReady Diagnostic Reports for the August administration. Please take some time to review your student's progress report and reach out to teachers if you have questions. Please review the diagnostic reports with your child as well. If you need help reading the report, I made a short Youtube video to explain the different parts. Thank you for being an active member of your child's education.

All attire must be school appropriate and follow the CMS dress code.
CMS Fall Sports Picture Day is Tuesday, September 12th. Students should be sure to bring uniforms, shoes, etc. and be ready for pictures at the time listed for their sport. Please be sure that your student has a ride waiting when pictures are complete.
Tomorrow, September 8th, is the deadline to turn in all Tiger Discount Card order forms and money. Students should turn in fundraising packet in the front office before homeroom.
FCA will meet in the CMS gym tomorrow morning. There will be a guest speaker and breakfast will be provided.
Reminder that the football game today has been moved to a 5 pm start time due to a JV game at Apalachee. Come out and support your CMS Tigers!

The teachers at Commerce Middle School have organized an unbelievable event to honor veterans for Veteran's Day this year. It is called Field of Flags and we would love you to help us decorate all of the field in front of CMS with a sea of American Flags for Veteran's Day.
Each flag in the Field of Flags honors a different hero. And behind each flag is a unique story—a story about courage and freedom. A story about sacrifice. A story worth honoring.
This Veterans Day, Commerce Middle School students will set up a field of American flags, all to honor local veterans and raise critical funds to support our ill and injured heroes.
Each flag is a donation of $10 to represent one veteran—and our unwavering commitment to serving all veterans after they’ve sacrificed so much for our country. All donations will raise critical funds to support Disabled American Veterans (DAV) life changing services for veterans in need and their families.
