Cara S. Lindsey, Ed.D., Principal CPS & CES
Welcome to another exciting year of learning at Commerce Primary! As the new school year gets underway in this new normal, I look forward to all the learning and new experiences we will be sharing together and virtually. Your child's safety is very important to us, and we strive to follow state and health department guidance for best practices during a pandemic. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me (email is quickest).
At Commerce Primary School, our mission is Promoting, Aspiring, and Working toward Success. (PAWS). We seek to address students' social, emotional, and learning needs in the most appropriate way for each child. In addition to that, we do everything in our power to foster a genuine love for learning in our students. We have wonderful teachers and staff who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students! If we work together we will accomplish our goals!
We hope you will find our website helpful. It should provide you with a wealth of school information to help you throughout the year. We also regularly update our Facebook page and encourage you to check it frequently for updates and pictures of students in action https://www.facebook.com/commerceprimaryschool
As principal for both Commerce Primary and Commerce Elementary, I strive to be available to students, parents, and staff as much as possible. Please always feel free to reach out to me at any time. Since I work with both schools, the simplest way to reach me is via email. From there, I can call you and/or set up a time to meet with you.
Thank you for everything you do to support us with your child’s learning. Best wishes for a successful year!
