Kindergarten Registration

Who: Children must be 5 by September 1, 2020 to be eligible for Kindergarten. In-district students will be given first priority. Students living outside the city limits should apply and will be placed on a waiting list. Out of district students will be contacted in mid-June and will be required to pay tuition ($150 per year) within 10 days of contact in order to enroll.

When: Online registration will begin May 5 and end May 15. 
*The out of district waitlist will be prioritized according to registration date and time.

How: Complete the steps below. * All steps must be completed.
1. Visit the “New Enrollment” link on our system website and complete the online registration information.
2. Enter your child’s Social Security number.
3. Upload the following documents:
● Birth certificate
● Proof of residency (utility bill or rental agreement with parent/guardian’s name)
● Parent I.D. (driver’s license)
● Custodial paperwork (if applicable)
● *Immunization record (Form 3321)
● *Hearing, Vision, Dental (Form 3300)
*Can be submitted to the school nurse within the first month of school if not available at the time of registration.

*Due to school closures, screenings will not be completed with students.

PreK & Kindergarten Registration

PreK Registration- 
Due to Gov. Kemp closing schools for the remainder of the school year, we will not be scheduling appointments for PK registration. Please complete online registration by May 5 using the “New Enrollment” link on the Commerce City Schools website. Additional documents will be collected at a later date. Kindergarten Registration-
Due to Gov. Kemp closing school for the remainder of the year, we will not hold registration on May 16. We will have a plan ready by mid to late April. Please stay tuned. Thank you for your your patience during these unprecedented times.

If our students return on Monday, April 27, we will follow the schedule below for PreK and Kindergarten registration.

PreK Registration- 
Parents of PreK students for 2020-2021 need to complete the online registration packet.  When complete, please email Angie Ingram ( to set up an appointment to bring required documentation to Central Office.

Kindergarten Registration-
May 5th- Parents may call the school (706-335-5587) to make appointments.
May 16th (Saturday)- Kindergarten Round-up

If school closures extend beyond Friday, April 24, these deadlines will be extended.  Thanks for your patience.
